Bro. Tosh celebrated his 64the birthday Sunday, July 25. With a "SURPRISE" PARTY....
Much Fellowship, Singing and LOTS AND LOTS OF food prepared and served by our wonderful ladies was enjoyed.
It was a great day. Special Guests included Homer and Margaret Belcher in the morning and evening services.
Billy and Ahvie Grable played piano and organ for the evening service and Homer sang for us.
Many others sang, too. The Aitkens Trio sang. Linda Monroe sang. others performed.
Thanks to a great church for the cards and gifts received.

A wonderful memorial service was held for
Rev. Russell Michener at Lucas Funeral Home
Officiating were Pastor Tosh, Homer Ritchie, Omer Ritchie, and David Cavin. A wonderful crowd of people attended in honor of Bro. Russell who passed away at home. Remember to pray for his family.
Russell was a member of Eastside. The Ladies of the Church
provided a wonderful meal at the church
for the family following the service

Our Annual Tosh Singing School
June 20 thru July 1, 2011
Morning and Evening Session
Monday thru Friday for 2 weeks
Special Guests Will Share
their Experiences in Gospel Music
Meet and make friends for a Lifetime!
To register for the school, come on the first day of class, either morning at 9 or evening at 7. Donations...Adults: $ 100. Children and Senior Citizens: donation $ 50.
donation$15 for materials.
WE WILL NOT TURN ANYONE AWAY BECAUSE OF MONEY, BUT
When you donate these amounts to the school it helps us reimburse the church for utilities and use of the building and church equipment. Our 2010 expenses were very great.

different kinds of talent...from beginner to advanced
We have been "there"...take advantage and don't be too proud to expose yourself to the possibility of improvement of the God-given talents you possess...God expects us to improve...not the be the Best of the Show...but to be the Best for the King!
