EASTSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH
OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS
2104 North Beach Street 76111

I serve a risen Savior,
 He's in the world today
I know that He is living,
whatever men may say

 "The Guiltless for the guilty"

Jesus said, Ye must be born again.
You cannot save yourself and a church cannot save you.
Repentance and turning to God, asking and trusting for salvation of your soul through the blood of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God.  There is no ritual that can save you.  There is not enough water in the Pacific Ocean to save you.  There is not enough bread and wine communion to save you.  There is not enough works that can save you.  If you don't trust what Jesus did in His death on the cross and His Resurrection from the grave, among the dead,  you cannot be saved.  You must believe on Jesus Christ. Do you bellieve what the Bible says?  Call on the Lord, and be  saved..........notify me on the contact page and let me know...or if you need prayer and more information.

Wow.  What a world we are living in.  The pace is too fast.  It's too hot.
When you once get behind, you can hardly catch up.
If you've been thinking about playing catch-up lately,
it's really not that hard. With the Lord, you just catch up and that's it.
He hasn't gone and left you so far away that you can't catch Him.
He's really right there.  Really.  Try it and see for yourself.
(Once you've caught up, may I suggest you just keep pace with Him.
It's easier that way.  Bro. Richard)

================================================
 Obadiah    KJV
:11 In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem,
even thou wast as one of them.
[if you don't stand against it,
you're for it.]

:12 But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress.

:13 Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity;

:14 Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress.

:15 For the day of the Lord is near upon all the heathen:
as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee:
thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

Children
Learn What They Live

If a child lives with criticism,
He learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility,
He learns to fight.
If a child lives with ridicule,
He learns to be shy.
If a child lives with shame,
He learns to feel guilty.
If a child lives with tolerance,
He learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement,
He learns confidence.
If a child lives with praise,
He learns to appreciate.
If a child lives with fairness,
He learns justice.
If a child lives with security,
He learns to have faith.
If a child lives with approval,
He learns to  like himself.
If a child lives with acceptance and friendship,
He learns to find love in the world.

One of the key ministries of the church is the singing school we hold each year, the last two weeks of June.
In our singing school, it was a privilege to have Bill Ham as he taught guitar lessons to 3 young guys.

THE picture below is this year's picture of Caleb Turk and his wife in Indonesia using the music he  learned at our school in their mission ministry there.  Caleb directs music for his father, Dr. Louis A. Turk.

Why music?
When a person is "down and out"...Music, Gospel Music, speaks to the soul of everybody...
Music can reach you when nothing else can...
and have you ever noticed how it just sort of "sneaks up on you"?
Why music?
When you get in your car...
there's music...
                                 ...it should be Gospel Music!
