Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Where are we and what are we about....?
Philippians 1:6
"until the day"
Our Church has basic core Beliefs in Biblical principles.  Your needs are of utmost importance to us.  In an age where ideas overwhelm the truth, we are holding to the tenets taught in the Bible.  We believe this is the best way for us to have an effective ministry in our city.  Offer the Truth of the Bible and do not compromise.
Our text is the King James Bible.

Founded in 1933 in Downtown Fort Worth our church has committed itself to meeting the needs of families and individuals for EIGHTY FOUR years.

The most important message you can receive from us is that there is hope for you in Jesus Christ.  Jesus is the only begotten Son of God.  There is not another way...Jesus said, "I am the way..."  Then, if He is the only way, He is the way you must go.

We believe it is of the utmost importance to teach people about the soon return of Jesus Christ for the church.  Knowing that Jesus is coming back, and coming back soon, will cause men , women, and even children to evaluate their lives and lifestyles in light of the Bible, God's inspired Word!

There is a great expectation in the heart of every Christian who has been taught concerning the Return of Jesus Christ... the watching Christian is waiting for the "rapture"...the catching away of the Church by the Lord Jesus Christ...He will come in the clouds (Rev. 1:7)...and instantly we will be with Him..."that where I am there ye may be also"...
JESUS IS COMING AGAIN!
AND SOON!

"EVEN SO, COME, LORD, JESUS"

INFORMATION WON'T HURT YOU

Simple faith, like that of a child, will cause you to TRUST His Word and His Truth...then, once you have trusted, and seen that He keeps His Word, you learn EXPERIENTIALLY that He never lies nor misleads...what He said He will do, He will do!!!

TMI
Christians are inundated with too much
information. So called, "new facts",  that cause them to doubt things that they know are true.

Sometimes these changes in thinking  come because a person is looking for some excuse to just quit being a "believer"...suddenly they begin to doubt what they've been taught all their lives by their family and their church.

 Information won't hurt you.
But, believing a lie can have eternal consequences...just look what happened to Adam and Eve.

Look at some of your family.  Someone in your family once went to church on a regular basis.  Others in the family, and their friends, kind of "Made Fun" of the FANATIC Christian.  They make remarks about the fact that you won't drink beer with them.

You won't miss your church to go do things with them.  You even forsook your family in order to make it to church and fill your place.
There must be 'something wrong' with you.
You will either forsake your Lord or your family...choose.
(BY THE WAY, THEY WON'T FORSAKE THEIR LODGE OR THEIR BINGO GAME FOR YOU)

They will even make up lies about youand begin to tell your close loved ones that you are just a hypocrite because they 'know' things on you.
They cause a rift between loved ones because they are insanely jealous.

But, remember this.  If they die in their condition, they will go to hell.
That must haunt them every night...they go have a beer or a joint.
But every day they wake up to the cold, hard facts.  The "wages of sin is death"...that means, ETERNAL SEPARATION FROM GOD.

Forget those people! They are on their way to Hell and want to take you with them!  They'll take you to a beer joint for a cool one and give you free cigarettes or worse and get you hooked into their lifestyle.  Pity the man that can't see the way they are leading him.
They do NOT have your best interests at heart.  Whether they know it or not, they are one of your worst enemies.  They are the enemy of your soul.

THEY GET GREAT SATISFACTION IN THEIR PERVERTED IDEAS

Worse is this: they do all that and get you out of church and then your whole immediate family is out of church and the kids grow up and some of their friends get them to go to church and they get saved and then they try to get you to go to church with them.....and you say,
I USED TO DO THAT.
They feel betrayed by the very ones who should have guided them in the right way and given them a Christian home, their parents, their Mom and their Dad.
So they grow up. They vow that their children will grow up in the Lord and you are then isolated.
Why?  Because you believed a lie!
Why not turn around now?  Turn to Jesus.  You don't have to be a better man.  You have to be saved.  You don't have to be a better woman.  You have to be saved.  Jesus will make you what He wants you to be.  It is real, my friend.  Please.  Look to Jesus, and Live!
THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE
THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, OUR LORD.
WHOSOEVER WILL, LET HIM COME!
WHOSOEVER CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD,
SHALL BE SAVED!!!
If we can help you in this, let us know.
But you can do it right now where you're sitting reading this.
Just DO IT!  God bless you.

Jesus Christ teaches us to come separately from the World.

We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver to you the best possible message you can hear in these days:
John 3:16.
We invite and encourage you to visit with us soon.

The Tosh School of Gospel Music
25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR 1988-2013
Since 1985 we have been part of the landscape of teaching young and old basic music principles to use in their ministry efforts.  We have had church music directors and missionaries take part.  Local church members, choir members, soloists, groups including trios and quartets
have come to learn a little more about what they were already doing.  We have had absolute beginners who could not keep proper time and could not read a note of music.
Using the SHAPE NOTE system of 7 different shapes, one for each tone, which for decades has proven successful, has also proven to be a great tool for our students.  These are "Do-Re-Mi's".  They're fun and easy to learn and practical to use.  A student can literally learn to read music in one day!  It is  a proven system.
In 1988, 29 years ago in 2013,  The Blackwood Brothers Quartet  was  co-sponsor and a very important part of our school.  That proved to be their last involvement  in Singing Schools. Their schedules proved to be too hard to be in one area every day and sing in a concert every night for two weeks.  Cecil Blackwood asked us personally to continue teaching an annual school.  We agreed to do so.
We had been a part of the Blackwood School of Music, also known as the National School of Music and felt our area needed to have this school.  We had worked with Cecil Blackwood in the school in Waxahachie and in Arlington and stepped into the role of administrating our own school.  The last school with the Blackwoods was in 1988 and was known as the Tosh/Blackwood School of Music.  Our son, Richard, was traveling and playing for the Blackwood Brothers at the time.
This was a distinct honor for us.  It continues to be a joy.
As often as we can, we still have the Blackwood Gospel Quartet come and sing for us.  We also use several local groups during the school to help teach aspiring singers a proper way of presenting the Gospel in song.  Legends like Martha Ham of Texas Legendary Music Company (the only Texas company still publishing a convention song book)and  pianist; Billy Grable who played for the Frank Stamps Quartet on the radio and in concerts daily in Texas and presents the Travis Gospel Concert Series; Cecil Pollock who played piano for the Rangers and continues with his quartet, The Tonesmen; Gerald Williams and the Melody Boys Quartet,  Faithful Touch, The Lee Gann Quartet, The Hinkle Family, The Dartts, The Weatherfords, The Mystery Men, The Toney Brothers , Jimmy Blackwood, Heritage Quartet, Master's Touch Quartet, Rex Lake Sound Seminar,
Jerry Trammell who sang with the Floriday Boys Quartet and the Blackwood Brothers; and too many more to mention now.
